Seattle Seahawks’ Might Pick QB Sam Bradford In The 1st Round?

The Seahawks are currently 4-11 and have the fifth overall pick in the upcoming 2009 NFL Draft. The Seahawks have a bunch of needs that include: QB, WR, OL, and CB.
Matt Hasselbeck isn’t getting any younger or healthier, and they don’t have a great or good young QB for the future—Seneca Wallace is not the answer, Charlie Frye, enough said.
Sam Bradford, a sophomore out of the University of Oklahoma, would be a great addition to help the Seahawks get back in the right direction. He’s only 20 years old, and his current stats to date are: 26 TDs, 5 INTs, 2,520 yards.
Now, you can’t compare collage stats to NFL stats, but just like Matt Ryan, who has made a great transition from college to the NFL (5 TDs, 3 INTs, 1,164 yards), Bradord could easily adapt to the professional game.
The Seahawks already have a good supporting cast of players (as long as they can stay healthy), which includes RB Julius Jones and T.J. Duckett, WRs Deion Branch and Koren Robinson, TE John Carlson, OTs Walter Jones and Sean Locklear, OGs Mike Whale and Rob Sims, and C Chris Spencer.
That’s not a bad offensive supporting cast to help a rookie QB.

It would certainly be a great pick for the Seahawks but as of now I don’t know that he would make it to the 5th pick.
