Texas Tech wide receiver Michael Crabtree just told reporters that the stress fracture he was diagnosed with is an old injury, one that has never caused him any pain. He plans to run the 40-yard dash next month in a workout at Texas Tech, and after that time he will have surgery.
He will have a screw inserted into his ankle.
“I come here today involving my injury report,” Crabtree said. “It’s an old injury I’ve been having. I’ve never had any pain in it. I will run my 40 and after I do that, I’m going to do surgery. But I’m looking forward to going to the next level. So that’s it.”
