I watched the Vikings vs. Lions and found out There is still Horse collar Tackles. You can Horse collar, while trying to force a fumble (Adrian Peterson) and if successful in the Horse collar and forced fumble, you can continue the Horse collar Tackle and forced the runner (Adrian Peterson) to the ground, with that same HORSE COLLAR TACKLE. Then a little later one of FOX/NFL team, say; the Horse Collar was “Incidental” what (WTF) the horse collar was “INSTRUMENTAL”

HORSE COLLAR TACKLES are still LEGAL, as long as you employ it in forcing a fumble.

So, my Question, what if you're not successful in FORCING the FUMBLE, will USING a HORSE COLLAR TACKLE… or DOSE THIS RESULT IN BEING CALLED FOR A HORSE COLLAR TACKLE, before the forced fumble?

And if the above is true, Horse Collar tackling has not been banned in the NFL? just some Horse Collar Tackles.
What is the factual TRUTH here?

Most important, if a Player uses a Horse Collar to force a fumble, but is not successful, what is the result of the Horse Collar Tackle?
