OT Michael Oher was the highlight of Mississippi’s pro day, which drew 65 player personnel people from 32 teams, including John Dorsey, Green Bay’s director of player personnel and Rick Repish, the Saints’ director of college scouting.
Running indoors on FieldTurf, Oher (6-5, 306) improved on his 40-yard dash time of 5.32 at the combine, running a 5.24 and 5.16. Oher also recorded a 31-inch vertical jump and 23 bench press lifts — two more than he lifted at the combine. The first thing everyone noted about Oher after this workout is his great footwork, which is very important to be a good pass protector.

DL Peria Jerry (6-1 7/8, 290 pounds) posted only one 40-yard dash time of 4.98. Jerry also recorded a 31-inch vertical jump, a 9-foot, 6-inch broad jump, 4.64 short shuttle, 7.30 three-cone drill and 28 bench press reps.
OL Maurice Miller (6-3, 325) ran a 5.39 and 5.38 in the 40-yard dash, which was an improvement over his time of 5.47 at the combine. He also posted a 31-inch vertical jump and 24 bench press lifts.
