North Carolina State And Duke hold their pro days

North Carolina State University held its pro day last week outdoors on grass. Here are the highlights:

RB Andre Brown (6-0, 228 pounds) did positional drills and turned in times of 4.28 in the short shuttle and 7.04 in the three-cone drill, but otherwise stood on his numbers from the combine.

TE Anthony Hill (6-5 1/4, 260 pounds) was measured and weighed but did not participate, choosing instead to hold his numbers from the combine.

DL Antoine Holmes (6-2, 289 pounds) turned in times of 4.86 and 4.83 in the 40-yard dash with a 27 1/2-inch vertical leap and an 8-foot, 1-inch broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 4.71 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.59 seconds, with 32 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press.
Duke

Eight NFL teams were in attendance at the Duke Pro Day, which was held outdoors on FieldTurf. The program is steadily improving, so look for more buzz in the coming years. Here are the notable players:

LB Michael Tauiliili (5-10, 231 pounds) showed that he will be a special teams star in the pros. He had times of 4.77 and 4.85 in the 40, with a 4.18 in the short shuttle and a 6.96 in the three-cone drill. He had a 29-inch vertical leap with a 9-foot, 2-inch broad jump, and did 20 reps on the bench.

OT Fred Roland (6-6 5/8, 303 pounds) ran the 40 in 5.07 and 5.09, with a 27 1/2-inch vertical leap and an 8-foot, 11-inch broad jump. He had times of 4.81 in the short shuttle and 7.57 in the three-cone drill, with 25 reps on the bench.

OT Cameron Goldberg (6-4 3/8, 286 pounds) showed off his power with 37 reps on the bench press. He had times of 4.97 and 4.98 in the 40, with a 33-inch vertical lead and an 8-foot, 9-inch broad jump. He posted a 4.61 short-shuttle time and a 7.27 three-cone drill.

S Adrian Aye-Darko (6-4, 203 pounds) had times of 4.61 and 4.60 in the 40, with a 33 1/2-inch vertical and a 9-foot, 9-inch broad jump. He did the short-shuttle drill in 4.15 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.85 seconds, and he did 12 reps on the bench press.
