“David Kirtman’s parents no longer have coach Mike Holmgren as a next-door neighbor in Mercer Island, but the fullback once again has a home with Seattle.
Kirtman, 26, signed a one-year contract with the Seahawks on Monday. He had participated in a three-day tryout with the team at the beginning of April.
Kirtman, who played at Mercer Island High School, was drafted by Seattle in the fifth round in 2006 out of USC. He played two seasons with the Seahawks. He was released last year and went from San Diego’s practice squad to the 49ers 53-man roster where he played in one game to the New Orleans practice squad.”
