Will The Red Raiders Beat The Longhorns Again?

It sure appears the Texas Red Raiders think Colt McCoy is not as good a Quarterback as everyone else in the Nation seems to think, below is a post from an unnamed Red Raider website.
The simple fact that they Beat the Longhorns last year does not make it so this year, as a matter of fact i’m willing to bet my house on it that Texas will stomp Tech this year badly!
Remember they will come to our house in game 3 of the season, not even close for their new QB to gel with his Offense, it is a wonder why a lot of people seem to think it’s Colt’s fault they lost to the Red Raiders last year, Defensive Back played a bigger role in letting Crabtree even come close to the lucky catch he made:
Below is part of the post i got from a Texas Tech Website-
“Arm strength, or lack thereof, is another issue that scouts will have with McCoy. The Texas quarterback appears to favor short to intermediate passes and will, at times, misfire on longer passes (often under throwing) giving away the fact that his arm isn’t as strong as the ideal NFL quarterback might have. This will be a knock on him going into the combine and eventually into the draft. Also his dismal play in the game against us hurts mentally and we will cost them another loss this year when we go to their house and stun them again”
Like hell that’s going to happen with the QB they have, Hook’em Horns! Dismal play my ASS!
Stat line: Completed an NCAA-record 76.7% of his passes for 3,859 yards and 34 TDs, with only eight interceptions, as a fourth-year junior. Also led Texas in rushing with 561 yards and 11 TDs. Broke Vince Young’s 3-year-old school record for total offense.
2008 highlights: Second to Oklahoma’s Sam Bradford in voting for the Heisman Trophy. Helped Texas to a 12-1 finish, including a come-from-behind win vs. Ohio State in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. In season’s biggest win, 45-35 vs. then No. 1-ranked OU in October, McCoy directed two fourth-quarter TD drives and finished 28-for-35 for 277 yards and a TD passing — without an interception.
Extra points: Record as a starter is 32-7. . . . Already holds school records for single-season and career completions, completion percentage, passing yardage, TD passes and total yardage. . . . Three-time academic All-Big 12 selection. Will graduate in December with degree in business and sports management.
Like hell that’s going to happen with the QB they have, Hook’em Horns!
Colt McCoy won’t reveal exactly how high he was advised he might have gone if he’d entered the NFL draft earlier this year, but the Texas quarterback says he was more than satisfied with what he was told by the committee of general managers and personnel directors he consulted.
McCoy rattles off a series of reasons for nonetheless not making the jump. He loves Texas, his teammates, the Longhorns’ coaches. Another year of college seasoning won’t hurt. The NFL isn’t going anywhere.
“I came back to win,” he says. “I think we have a great chance.”
He and the ‘Horns won 12 times a year ago, but it turned out to be one too few. A next-to-last-second loss at Texas Tech cost them a berth in the Big 12 Conference championship game and, with that, a shot at the national title game a month later.
The course of the Heisman Trophy race was altered, as well. McCoy had delivered the kind of signature performance against Tech that voters remember when they cast their ballots in December, passing for 216 second-half yards and coolly engineering an 80-yard touchdown drive to give his team a one—point lead with less than 1½ minutes left. But it was trumped by the Red Raiders’ Graham Harrell and Michael Crabtree, who hooked up for a stunning scoring pass on the game’s final play from scrimmage.
McCoy still got a trip to New York out of the season, finishing second in the Heisman balloting to Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford — matching the finish by the Longhorns’ Vince Young three years earlier.

Spoken like a true arrogant Longhorn fan! You think your school is the next best thing since sliced bread, and you carry around a texas flag is if you think you represent the whole state! Well growing up in Lubbock I can tell you that you will never represent, West Texas! nor anyone from Red Raider nation!
The fact is, the media is biased against Tech, and if Graham Harrell had crossed out Tech on his jersey, he would have been in NY too.
Your probably right, the chances are you will win…but then again, big upsets happen every year!
And as in the words of the great Bob Knight, “I deeply hope we beat your ass!”

Graham Harrell was way over rated and was never even close to a first round draft choice, Tech will have no chance in hell to beat Texas with McCoy at the Helm!
