The Seattle Seahawks have waived defensive end Brandon Miller with the designation of non-football injury and filled his roster spot with defensive end Derek Walker.
Walker was a 2009 undrafted rookie free agent that signed with the Washington Redskins after the draft but was released this summer. He played in 47 career games for the University of Illinois where he compiled 110 stops (58 solo), 15.0 sacks, one interception returned for a touchdown and three fumble recoveries from 2005-08.
Miller was claimed off waivers (Atlanta) by Seattle on November 18, 2008, and played in one game for the Seahawks last season.
