Here is the best thing, It’s Walter Jones Folks,  he has had this several times in the past and has come back from this type of injury. he will come back no later than the 2nd game of the season if all goes well.

Walter Jones, the Seahawks’ Pro Bowl left tackle, had loose bodies and scar tissue removed from his left knee this morning during an arthroscopic procedure performed by Dr. Ed Khalfayan in Seattle.

The procedure was deemed a success, and the results matched what the team’s medical staff was expecting to find in the same knee that needed microfracture surgery on in December. The scar tissue was around the site of that surgery.

Jones will be reevaluated in two weeks.

With Jones going down in practice on Monday, and then the word from coach Jim Mora on Wednesday that he would have the scope, the concern among fans was palpable.

But his teammates have taken a different approach.

“Maybe if it was someone else,” quarterback Matt Hasselbeck said. “He’s just done it so many times where no OTAs, no minicamp, no training camp, Pro Bowl. It’s just what he does. It’s almost better. You know he’s not going to get hurt out there. That’s just how it’s been with him.”

Hasselbeck was referring to the three years (2002-04) that Jones was given the franchise tag and did not participate in any offseason or summer activities before reporting and signing his franchise tender. He was indeed voted to the Pro Bowl each season, as well as being named All-Pro in 2003 and 2004.

“Walt is hanging in there for us,” left guard Rob Sims said. “He wants to be a part of this team. He wants to be a part of this line. He’s a fighter.

“I expect him back. He’s got the heart of a lion. He’s always hung in there with us. He’s always been there. When he gets back, we’ll roll.”
