New Seahawks coach Pete Carroll stopped by the University of Washington in Seattle on Wednesday to watch 11 former Huskies players work out at the school’s pro day.
Representatives from 22 other teams were also in attendance, including Baltimore Ravens linebackers coach Dean Pees and Browns director of pro personnel Keith Gilbertson.
The scouts were treated to a fabulous breakfast before watching prospects like DE Daniel Te’o-Nesheim, who backed up his solid performance at the NFL Scouting Combine with a stellar set of position drills Wednesday.
Te’o-Nesheim (6-foot-3 1/2, 267 pounds) ran the 40-yard dash in 4.72 and 4.73 and decided to stand on the rest of his times from the combine.
Linebacker Donald Butler (6-0 7/8, 235) ran 4.61 and 4.67 in the 40, had a 35.5-inch vertical leap, 10-foot, 1-inch broad jump, 4.26 short shuttle, 6.90 three-cone drill and participated in position drills.
