The New York Jets have agreed to terms with linebacker and special-teams ace Lance Laury(notes), according to his agent, David Canter.
The former Seattle Seahawks special-teams captain visited the Jets over the past two days.
Laury, 28, was signed by the Seahawks in 2006 as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina.
The 6-foot-2, 237-pound special-teams standout recorded 21 tackles last season and forced one fumble while playing in every game.
For his career, Laury has registered 64 tackles and two forced fumbles.
