Are The Seattle Seahawks Secretly Targeting QB Jimmy Clausen?

Makes you wonder why the Seattle Seahawks Offensive Coordinator Jeremy Bates and QB’s coach Jeff Fisch were personally on hand to hold a private 3 hour workout with Jimmy Clausen?

I mean we have lots of people within the Seattle Seahawks organization to go out and scout prospects folks, they call them scouts!

Could it be that the Seattle Seahawks are playing more spring poker, or could they actually be thinking of Drafting QB Jimmy Clausen in this years Draft?

“Quarterback Jimmy Clausen went through a three-hour, private workout for the Seattle Seahawks Friday, according to NFL.com’s Gil Brandt.

Clausen left his pro day workout in front of a number of scouts and went directly to a private workout for Seattle offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates and quarterback coach Jeff Fisch.

Clausen did throwing drills and did not run the 40-yard dash. He has been recovering from toe surgery this offseason and hadn’t worked out for teams until Friday”.

Clausen has been the face of the Notre Dame program for the past three years and has shown improvement in virtually every aspect of his game each year. He lacks a cannon for an arm but he does have a live arm and a quick delivery that allows him to get the ball out quickly. He has close to a ¾-arm delivery which coupled with his lack of top height can cause some of his passes to get knocked down or tipped by pass rushers. He has been well coached and understands a pro style offense, so he is apt to come to camp better prepared than most. He is recovering from toe surgery and will not participate in combine drills.

he is the best quarterback in the draft by far. PLayed hurt all year and put up 28 tds and 4 picks. If he could play defense too they probably wouldnt have lost a game!
