The Seattle Seahawks announced Tuesday the addition of the nine-year veteran. The 32-year-old was with Denver playing mostly in the same zone-blocking system the Seahawks are employing under new coach Pete Carroll and new offensive line coach Alex Gibbs this season.
Hamilton was a fourth-round pick of the Broncos in 2001.
He started 80 consecutive games from 2002-06. Gibbs was an assistant with the Broncos for the first two of those seasons.
Hamilton missed the 2007 season due to concussion symptoms then returned in 2008 to start all 16 games. He played 15 games with eight starts last season.
He has started 104 of 111 career games.
