LenDale White has not spoken publicly since he was released by the Seattle Seahawks Friday. But he has spoken privately to his uncle, who described his nephew as shaken by his abrupt release.
White’s uncle, Herman White, says LenDale is “confused” and “broken up.”
“He wasn’t doing good,” Herman White said of LenDale’s reaction to the news on Friday. “I have no idea what happened.”
What happened, according to various reports, is that LenDale wasn’t working hard enough, and he’s also facing a four-game suspension. LenDale apparently wasn’t aware that he had any issues that would lead the Seahawks to cut him.
“He was surprised,” Herman White said. “I’m pretty shocked, based on what he’s been telling me.”
