Donut shop capitalizes on Golden Tate's misdeed

Earlier this month, Seahawks rookie wideout Golden Tate made unwanted headlines by entering a Bellevue, Washington donut shop before the place opened and absconding with some maple bars.

The folks at Top Pot opted not to press charges against Tate, possibly due in part to the fact that Top Pot is a sponsor of the Seahawks.

And possibly due in part to the fact that Top Pot saw an opportunity to turn Tate’s gaffe into actual gold.

Per Greg Johns of SeattlePI.com, Top Pot has launched a new ad campaign with the slogan, “Irresistible . . . but please wait until we’re open.”

Yes, please wait. Because if you pull that crap and you’re not a pro athlete, you’ll be sitting on the top pot in cell block D.
