Add Vincent Jackson’s name to the list of big-name wide receivers on the Seahawks’ radar.
According to several reports, the Seahawks have spoken with the Chargers regarding a trade for the Pro Bowl wideout, a restricted free agent who could stage a lengthy holdout if he doesn’t get a long-term deal.
ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter tweeted Wednesday morning the Seahawks, Redskins and Bears “have debated making a run” at Jackson.
The 27-year-old is coming off consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons, which included career-highs in catches with 68 and touchdowns with 9.
His 17.2 yards-per-catch was second best among receivers with at least 40 receptions.
Jackson could be facing a suspension to start the 2010 season after he pleaded guilty to his second DUI in February.
