The first four minutes or so cover the Seattle Seahawks. The final four minutes or so cover NCAA sanctions against USC.

He’s crediting Matt Hasselbeck and Lawyer Milloy for taking leadership roles and helping him implement his program.

We have covered most of the ground here, but it’s mid-July and eight minutes with Pete Carroll beats no minutes with Pete Carroll if you’re following the Seahawks closely.

It’s clear from watching Carroll that he stays on point. He hits the same themes over and over. The team’s public relations staff must sleep soundly without worrying about what Carroll is going to say. That doesn’t mean Carroll is boring. He can provide helpful answers to specific questions, as when he discussed early defensive plans when speaking with Mitch Levy of KJR radio in Seattle.
