Breaking: Seahawks also cut Wrotto, Vallos and Ellison

The Seahawks have released offensive linemen Mansfield Wrotto and Steve Vallos and safety Kevin Ellison, according to the team’s official Twitter feed.

Seattle claimed guard Evan Dietrich-Smith off waivers. He was previously with the Green Bay Packers so GM John Schneider has familiarity with him.

Seattle also claimed defensive back Nate Ness off waivers from Miami.

The Seahawks formally acquired Stacy Andrews, offensive lineman from Philadelphia in a trade agreed to Saturday, but not formalized until Sunday.
