Matt Hasselbeck is expected to play in Week Nine despite suffering a concussion during a loss to the Raiders, coach Pete Carroll said Monday.
The question now becomes: Can Hasselbeck survive a game against the Giants?
New York’s defense has helped knock out five quarterbacks this season. Seahawks left tackle Russell Okung is recovering from a high ankle sprain, but Carroll says he may return to practice on Wednesday, according to Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times.
It sounds like Seattle will be without starting defensive end Red Bryant, though. Carroll told the Seahawks media Bryant would be out for “a while.”
