Earl Thomas headed to the 2011 Pro Bowl?

This might be a bit premature but the word round these parts is that the Packers Nick Collins will not participate in next weeks Pro Bowl due to the fact the Cheeseheads are in the Super Bowl.

Just rumor but i got it from a very trusted source, Green bay would be wise to not let Collins play in the Pro Bowl since this year it is a week before the Super Bowl. Common sense would say don’t take any chances on a possible injury. So we should know by tommorow morning or afternoon if Nick opts to sit out, then this is where it get’s tricky.

Since Earl Thomas is the Safety alternate for the NFC team it would make all the sense in the world for him to be on a flight as soon as the Seahawks Organization get’s the word?

We will keep a close tab on this situation but all roads point to Earl Thomas earning a role in his rookie season on the NFC Pro Bowl Roster!
