RENTON, Wash. – The Seattle Seahawks announced today a free viewing party to watch the 2011 NFL Draft. The first round of the 2011 NFL Draft will be held on Thursday, April 28, beginning at 4:30 p.m. The Seahawks hold the 25th overallpick on the first day of the three-day draft. Each team has a time limit of 10 minutes in the first round.
The 2011 NFL Draft Night Party, presented by Qwest, will be held at the WaMu Theater located at the Qwest Field Event Center.
The event is free but fans must register online due to limited space. Registered fans will be eligible to take a tour of the Seahawks locker room. Doors open at 4 p.m. and fans can park in the North Lot or Qwest Field Event Center garage.
Fans attending will enjoy happy-hour priced drinks and appetizers, an opportunity to meet the Sea Gals and pick-up the latest Seahawks gear, including the 2011 Seahawks Draft Cap from the on-site Pro Shop kiosk.
The team will broadcast the NFL Network’s Draft Day telecast on a custom designed 15′ x 20′ video panel display.
Seahawks fans are also invited to attend the Bud Light Draft Night Satellite Party at Earl’s Kitchen & Bar in Bellevue. Fans will have the opportunity to meet members of the Sea Gals and win prizes while enjoying food and drink specials.
