Note: The Giants haven’t played at Seattle since September 2006, a game when Seattle’s run atop the NFC crested. The Seahawks were coming off a Super Bowl appearance and they held a 42-3 lead over the Giants entering the third quarter, en route to improving to 3-0. The Seahawks gave up 27 points in the fourth quarter of that game, lost 37-6 the next in Chicago and haven’t been an elite team since then.

Note: Good news for Seattle is the setting. The Seahawks are 5-20 at Kansas City compared to 13-11 in Seattle. The Chiefs have played at Qwest Field only once since it opened, losing 39-22 in November.

The Panthers have the same coach but a new quarterback after cutting Jake Delhomme. Jonathan Stewart of Timberline High School will play in his home state for the first time as a pro.
