The Seahawks traded out of the final pick in the first round of the NFL Draft on Thursday night, sending it to the Minnesota Vikings for a second-round pick and another in the fourth round.

The Seahawks-Vikings connection clicked again in the first-round of the NFL Draft on Thursday night, when the Super Bowl champions traded the final pick in the opening round to Minnesota.

The Vikings used the pick to select Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, while the Seahawks got the Vikings’ pick at the top of Friday’s second round – No. 40 overall; and also the Vikings’ pick in the fourth round – No. 108 overall.

General manager John Schneider had said earlier in the day that it’s “realistic” that the Seahawks would trade the 32nd pick overall to a team looking to get back into the first round to select a QB. The Vikings already had taken UCLA defensive end Anthony Barr with the ninth pick in the first round.

The Seahawks now have two picks in Friday’s second round – No. 40 and No. 64.

The Seahawks made a trade with the Vikings in 2012 for wide receiver Percy Harvin, sending Minnesota their first-round pick and seventh-round pick in 2013 and their third-round pick this year.
