Seahawks’ Paul Richardson shows his hamstring injury no longer an issue

Seahawks wide receiver Paul Richardson is coming off a lost season that ended right after it began when he sustained a hamstring injury in his first game back from knee surgery.

After the Seahawks placed Richardson on injured reserve, coach Pete Carroll said the team’s expectation was that his injury wouldn’t require surgery. His comments left the impression that Richardson wouldn’t have a lengthy offseason rehab ahead of him, either.

Richardson provided an update of sorts on his status with a video he posted to his Instagram account earlier this week. Richardson is running routes, seemingly at full speed or close to it.

If anything, the video offers some affirmation that Richardson’s hamstring injury isn’t a long-term issue (and a reminder that he’s incredibly fast).

The video is below. It includes music with some language that may not be safe for work.
