Seattle Seahawks Select Michigan Safety Delano Hill With No. 95 Overall Pick

9/3/16 The University of Michigan football team beats the University of Hawaii, 63-3, at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, MI.

At pick No. 95 in the 2017 NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks selected safety Delano Hill from the University of Michigan.
The Seahawks used their first three picks on defensive lineman Malik McDowell, offensive lineman Ethan Pocic and cornerback Shaquill Griffin.
Hill, who is friends with Seahawks defensive end Frank Clark and running back Thomas Rawls (both had stints at Michigan), finished his career in Ann Arbor contributing 119 tackles, seven tackles for loss, one forced fumble, three interceptions and eight pass break-ups. He appeared in 46 career games as a four-year letterman for the Wolverines.
An aggressive safety, Hill adds depth to the Seahawks safety group behind Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor. He is the Seahawks’ second addition at the position this offseason after Seattle signed Bradley McDougald in free agency.
The Seahawks have two remaining picks in the third round:
Round 3 | No. 102 overall
Round 3 | No. 106 overall
